Trevor't Hart
Founder & Owner
Trevor has over 35 years of construction industry experience. A qualified civil engineer who worked for 12 years in the civil and building industry, as a main contractor with Savage and Lovemore / Group 5. Trevor moved into project management and obtained valuable international experience in the leisure industry with MLC Bonnet. A personal highlight being the successful completion of the Le Saint Géran hotel in Mauritius.
Trevor joined Sun International as Development Manager during the new casino license era and obtained detailed operations experience in both casino and leisure markets.
Trevor established @Hart Property Development 20 years ago, specialising in project management and has grown a diversified base of satisfied clients.
When Trevor isn’t ensuring we are delivering effective services to our clients, successful project delivery, and guiding our team in their development, Trevor enjoys his down time sailing.
Simphiwe Malinga
Director
Simphiwe joined @Hart Property Development in 2009. Having obtained a Town & Regional Planning qualification, he enjoyed a brief stint as a land use consultant. Seeking more hands-on development experience, Simphiwe started at HPD as an assistant project manager, rising through the ranks to Partner. Simphiwe has overseen the successful completion of various development projects including the delivery of the Southern Sun Maputo Hotel in Mozambique.
As part of the HPD leadership team, Simphiwe has a key role in shaping company strategy, organisational design, and innovation, as well positioning HPD for the future as a key Industry 4.0 partner to our clients.
Simphiwe is a novice bass player an avid hiker who has successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
Christa 't Hart Porter
Project Administration & Procurement Manager
Christa began her HPD journey in 2008, taking on the dual roles of project administration and procurement management. Prior to @Hart Property Development, Christa was the Principal CEA of Chrissam Property Group. Christa has over 25 years of industry experience and looks after the administrative functions on various projects. Christa headed the procurement team that successfully delivered the Golden Horse Casino refurbishment. Christa also helps HPD identify new development/refurbishment opportunities in the local and international commercial, leisure and retail sectors.
In her personal time Christa enjoys oil painting, animal welfare and scuba diving.
